डॉ तोमर ने स्पष्ट किया कि आज आयुर्वेद भारत की चारदीवारी से निकल कर वैश्विक क्षितिज पर प्रतिष्ठापित हो रहा है । इस परिदृश्य में हमारी भूमिका और भी महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है ।

विश्व आयुर्वेद मिशन एवं डाबर इण्डिया लिमिटेड के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में “जीर्ण एवं असाध्य रोगों का आयुर्वेद उपचार”विषय पर एक राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार का आयोजन स्थानीय हिन्दुस्तानी एकेडमी के गाँधी सभागार में किया गया जिसका उद्घाटन इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की पूर्व न्यायमूर्ति श्रीमती विजय लक्ष्मी ने किया।

अपने उद्वोधन में उन्होंने आयुर्वेद को देश की अमूल्य धरोहर बताते हुए इसकी ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला । कार्यक्रम के प्रारम्भ में सेमिनार का विषय प्रवर्तन करते हुए आयोजन अध्यक्ष एवं विश्व आयुर्वेद मिशन के अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष प्रो.(डॉ.) जी एस तोमर ने आयुर्वेद की बढ़ती हुई लोकप्रियता एवं वैश्विक स्वीकार्यता के दृष्टिगत आयुर्वेद विधा से प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़े हुए सभी लोगों का आह्वान किया कि वह इसकी वास्तविक शक्ति एवं मर्यादाओं का पुनर्मूल्यांकन लोक प्रचलित एवं विश्व स्वीकार्य साक्ष्य आधारित मापदंडों पर कर इसे पुनर्स्थापित करें ।

डॉ तोमर ने स्पष्ट किया कि आज आयुर्वेद भारत की चारदीवारी से निकल कर वैश्विक क्षितिज पर प्रतिष्ठापित हो रहा है । इस परिदृश्य में हमारी भूमिका और भी महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है । विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन का ध्यान वर्तमान में संक्रामक रोगों से हटकर जीवनशैली जन्य रोगों की ओर आकृष्ट हो रहा है । डब्लू एच ओ का मानना है कि 75% से अधिक जीवनशैली जन्य रोग मात्र खान पान एवं आचार विचार में सुधार लाकर रोके जा सकते हैं । यही नहीं मधुमेह, उच्च रक्तचाप, गठिया, दमा तथा केंसर जैसे जीर्ण एवं असाध्य रोगों का आयुर्वेद में सफल एवं प्रभावी उपचार उपलब्ध है । किसी भी चिकित्सा की सफलता उसमें उपलब्ध औषधियों की गुणवत्ता पर निर्भर करती है । इस दिशा में डाबर जैसी विश्वसनीय औषधि निर्माण शालाओं का योगदान महत्वपूर्ण है ।

बतौर विशिष्ट अतिथि अपने उद्वोधन में अपर मेला अधिकारी महाकुंभ-2025 डॉ विवेक चतुर्वेदी ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए स्पष्ट किया कि माघ मेला जैसे धार्मिक आयोजनों में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं की पहली प्राथमिकता आयुर्वेद रहती है । यही नहीं आयुर्वेद की बढ़ती आस्था के दृष्टिगत विदेशी यात्रियों के आकर्षण का केन्द्र भी आयुर्वेद बनता जा रहा है । कोरोना कालखण्ड के अपने अनुभवों को बताते हुए डॉ चतुर्वेदी ने आयुष क्वाथ एवं गिलोयघनवटी जैसी औषधियों की प्रभावकारिता की प्रशंसा की । इसी श्रंखला में विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में अपने उद्वोधन में डाबर के सीनियर मार्केटिंग मैनेजर एवं ख्याति लब्ध रसशास्त्री डॉ दुर्गा प्रसाद ने औषधियों की गुणवत्ता को ही डाबर का मूल ध्येय बताया ।राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर वांछित मानकों को ध्यान में रखकर औषधियों के निर्माण करने से ही उच्च गुणवत्ता युक्त औषधियों का निर्माण संभव हो पा रहा है ।

उन्होंने कहा कि चिकित्सा के चार पादों में वैद्य के बाद दूसरा महत्वपूर्ण स्थान औषधियों का है । यही चिकित्सकों की सफलता का मूल मंत्र हैं । डाबर में औषधियों के निर्माण में शास्त्रीय ज्ञान को अक्षुण्ण रखते हुए नवीनतम आधुनिक तकनीक का प्रयोग किया जा रहा है । यही कारण है कि आज इसकी माँग केवल अपने देश में ही नहीं अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय बाज़ार में सबसे अधिक है ।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे हिंदुस्तानी अकादमी के सचिव डी पी सिंह ने बताया कि आने वाला आयुर्वेद एवं योग का है।
इस अवसर पर मिलेट्स एन्ड न्यूट्रीशन, द ग्रासेस ए मेडिसिनल रिपोजिटरी एवं भैषज्यम् पुस्तकों का विमोचन भी किया गया।
इस अवसर पर आयुर्वेद के क्षेत्र मे उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए डा दुर्गा प्रसाद को लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड एवं राजकीय आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालय पीलीभीत के प्रवक्ता डा हरिशंकर मिश्र को सर्विस एकसीलेंस अवार्ड प्रदान किया गया।

Acceptance of Ayurveda is increasing globally – Prof. (Dr.) GS Tomar

Under the joint aegis of Vishwa Ayurveda Mission and Dabur India Limited, a National seminar on the topic “Ayurvedic management of chronic and intractable diseases” was organized at Hindustani Academy. The program began with lighting of the lamp, Dhanwantari worship and offering flowers to the Chandrashekhar Azad and Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

The Chief Guest Hon’ble Justice Vijay Lakshmi, in her inaugural address said that Ayurveda is an invaluable heritage of our nation. She highlighted its historical importance in detail. Initiating the theme of the seminar at the beginning of the program, Organizing President and International President of Vishwa Ayurveda Mission, Prof. (Dr.) GS Tomar, in view of increasing popularity and global acceptance of Ayurveda, called upon all stakeholders directly or indirectly associated with the Ayurveda system to re-evaluate its real strength and limitations and restore it on popular and world accepted evidence-based parameters. Dr. Tomar clarified that today Ayurveda is coming out of the four walls of India and getting established on the globally. In this scenario our role becomes more important. The attention of the World Health Organization is currently shifting from infectious diseases to lifestyle related diseases. WHO believes that more than 75% of lifestyle diseases can be prevented only by improving food habits and lifestyle. Not only this, successful and effective treatment is available in Ayurveda for chronic and intractable diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, asthma and cancer. The success of any therapy depends on the quality of the medicines available in it. The contribution of reliable pharmaceutical companies like Dabur is important in this direction.

Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, while sharing his experiences, clarified that documentation is necessary in Ayurveda. He said that Ayurveda remains the first priority of the devotees coming to religious events like Magh Mela. Not only this, in view of the increasing faith in Ayurveda, it is also becoming the center of attraction for foreign travelers. Describing his experiences during the Corona period, Dr. Chaturvedi praised the efficacy of medicines like Ayush Kwath and Giloyghanvati.

In this series, Dr. Durga Prasad, Senior Marketing Manager, Dabur, in his speech as a special guest, said that the quality of medicines is important. Manufacturing of high quality medicines is possible only by keeping in mind the desired standards at the national and international level. He said that in the quadruplets of medicine, the second important place after the doctor is that of medicines. This is the basic instrument of success of doctors.

DP Singh, secretary of the Hindustani Academy, who was presiding over the programme shared his experiences about Ayurveda and Yoga.
The books Millets and Nutrition, The Grasses- A Medicinal Repository and Bhaishajyam were also released on the occasion.

Life Time Achievement Award was given to Dr. Durga Prasad and Service Excellence Award to Dr. Harishankar Mishra, Lecturer of Government Ayurveda College, Pilibhit
for his excellent work in the field of Ayurveda and research.
