Bharat Vikas Parishad Prayag shakha organised a meeting on budget 2025 at Hotel Prayag inn wherein speakers were professor Umesh Pratap Singh covering the economic aspect, CA Dr. Navin C. Agrawal on Income Tax aspect and senior advocate R P Agarwal with concluding remarks.

In the beginning President Dr Alpana Agarwal welcomed the members and guests. She appreciated the economic policies targeting 2047 as third largest economy in the world.

She also placed policies of Shivaji who’s birthday was in the last week. He was great emperor for Sanatan. He developed navel forces at the time. Consequently recently new flag has been adopted for Indian Navy in his name. Professor Umesh Pratap Singh opened that the budget will result in more investment in private sector which will in turn increasing employment. Agriculture sector will also be strength. MSME will also achieve higher turnover.

CA Dr. Navin C Agrawal opined that it is one of the best budget, nobody has thought about it. It has given relief to the middle class. Honest tax payers will also be benefited. Present approach is Trust first, scrutinize later. He briefed about the tax lens on fake donations to parties and charities. He further outlined that department is going to crack 40000 taxpayers with wrong TDS filings. This time TDS rates have been streamlined and made more appropriate. He explained the impact of increase in exemption limit to 12 lacs and revised slab rates for individual under new tax regime. Updated returns can we file up to 48 months with increased tax liability. It can be termed as permanent amnesty.

Shri R P Agrawal was critical of statement of UFM that she took time in convincing the bureaucracy. In his opinion it is difficult to achieve the desired results since GDP has gone down. Stock market is also going down day by day.

In the meeting election of office bearers for 25 26 was ratified R N Agrawal president, Dr Sunil Kant Mishra secretary and Dr. P. das treasurer. Shrimati Alka shrivtastav was the observor.
