The present government of the Center and the state has also included tourism and pilgrimage in the overall concept of development. This includes the development of tourism and pilgrimage sites and the construction of highways related to them.

Significant progress has been made in this direction during the last years. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has added many new chapters to it. He had started the Treta Yug-like Deepotsav in Ayodhya ji. After its inception, it was established as a tradition. It has gradually surpassed its own records. The record of Deepotsav was set in the world. Similarly, Yogi Adityanath had started the Van Mahotsav. Who has left behind his own record every time.

Now Yogi Adityanath will do the innovative work of including Ramvan Gaman Marg in the Van Mahotsav campaign. Under this, Treta Yuga gardens will be established on this route. The idea of ​​conservation of nature has been there in India since time immemorial. Yogi Adityanath takes inspiration from him. He believes that connecting with the past is necessary for the present society. The gardens and parks of Treta Yuga will also infuse environmental consciousness in the present generation. The Ramayana, composed by Maharishi Valmiki, mentions eighty-eight tree species and a group of forests and trees found on the road to Ram Van Gaman from Ayodhya to Chitrakoot. Mention of Shringar forest, Tamal forest, Rasal forest, Champak forest, Chandan forest, Ashoka forest, Kadamba forest, Anang forest, Vichitra forest, Vihar forest is found in Ramayana and various scriptures by Maharishi Valmiki.

Many of the eighty-eight tree species mentioned in the Ramayana have become extinct or confined to other parts of the country. As mentioned in Ramayana, Rakta sandalwood trees are currently limited to South India. Out of the eighty eight tree species mentioned in Ramayana in Ayodhya, Prayagraj Chitrakoot districts falling in Ram Van Gaman Marg by the Forest Department, thirty tree species are being planted suitable for the soil, environment and climate of the state. This tree species – Sal, Mango, Ashok, Kalpavriksha Parijat, Banyan, Mahua, Jackfruit, Asan, Kadamba, Arjun, Chitwan, Jamun, Pomegranate, Bell, Khair, Palash, Bahera, Peepal, Amla, Neem, Sheesham, Bamboo, Plum There are Kachanar, Chilbil, Kaner, Semal, Siras, Amaltas, Barhal.

Preparations for planting these trees have been completed in these districts. The state government has set a target of planting 30 crore saplings this year with wide public participation. Under this, plantation of trees of Ramayana period will be done on Ram Van Gaman Marg with the participation of nearby gram sabhas.
