Indo-Auatralian Munish Soni Promoting Youth Cricket in India 

Munish Soni migrated to Sydney in Australia from Chandigarh, Punjab and is a successful enterprising professional. He did Masters in Business Computer Application. Before migrating to Australia , he was a first class cricket player and also played with famous players like Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh. After 27 years , even today he is passionately connected to his roots in India and promoting youth cricket in India and Australia. 

He has developed the Indo-Aussie Friendship Club ( IAFC) as a platform for Indian and Australian youths to gain exposure in the cricket . U-23 T20 was started by him in Chandigarh in 2024. Above cricket event attracted so many upcoming youth talents. Rising star Raj Angad Bawa ( U-19 World Cup Winner and now with Mumbai India in IPL) also participated. 

Driven by the response and enthusiasm of the youths of the cricket, Manish Soni organised 2025 edition to start Season 1 with four teams and Season 2 with seven teams in India in May 2025. 2025 edition featured Australian U-19 World Cup Winner Harjas Singh. Above platform is giving amazing platform to Indian and Australian youths to gain quality exposure in cricket and also helping them to get connected to IPL, national selectors and other leagues globally.

Munish Soni says that India has fortified its reputation as a resurgent, robust and rapidly rising global power as the fastest-growing major economy under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is seen as a safe and trusted investment destination. The free trade agreement signed between India and Australia in December 2022 have created a channel of reciprocal trade benefits for both countries.  

Munish Soni says that the image and presence of Indian diaspora in Australia has become more visible and significant. In May, 2023, a “Little India ” gateway was announced for the area Harris Park in Western Sydney during visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to symbolize strengthened ties. This “Little India ” in Parramatta serves as a major comercial and cultural hub for the Indian diaspora , featuring authentic Indian street food, clothing and retail. Munish Soni considers his presence as proud moment in the above event.

Munish Soni is owner of franchise cricket team in USA as Premium Aussies representing Australia in American Premier League USA. Team is led by Australian cricketer and IPL player Ben Cutting. Ben Cutting led his team Premium Aussies in APL American Premier League in USA. 

Currently Munish Soni is in Chandigarh to organise domestic matches of young cricketers from 7-10 May 2026 ( for boys) and 14-17 May 2026 ( for girls) with unfazing enthusiasm. In future , he plans to bring Australian Youth Cricket team for domestic matches in India. Mr Ketan Rajpal & Jai Deep Sharma of Melbourne and Ms Shivali Chatley ( Councillor from City of Greater Bendingo in Victoria state of Australia) are helping Munish to actualise his dreams in India. 

The ultimate aim of Munish Soni is to give an excellent chance to rising deprived young cricket players ( coming from small towns and not getting enough chance to show their skill) through various cricket tournaments and help them in changing not only their fortune but also the financial upgradation of their families. India has a fast factory of untapped talents in youth cricket and Munish Soni wants to return back to his mothercountry India by promoting Youth Cricket.
