Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager of Eastern Railway, led the homage-paying ceremony, EASTERN RAILWAY PAYS TRIBUTE TO DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR ON HIS BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

Eastern Railway commemorated the birth anniversary of the esteemed Bharat Ratna, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, at its Headquarters located at Fairlie Place, Kolkata. Shri Milind K Deouskar, General Manager of Eastern Railway, led the homage-paying ceremony by offering floral tributes to the revered portrait of Dr. Ambedkar.

Shri Sumit Sarkar Additional General Manager, Eastern Railway and Principal Head of the departments of Eastern Railway collectively honoured the memory and legacy of Dr. Ambedkar.

Reflecting on the occasion, Shri Deouskar, General Manager/Eastern Railway highlighted the monumental role played by Baba Saheb in crafting the Constitution of India. He also underscored Dr. Ambedkar’s unwavering commitment to education and economic empowerment, particularly for the marginalized sections of society.
